What I Like About You

I love you…..those three words that we all need to hear in our life. It feels good.

However, there is one thing that really makes us bond with another. It is when we know WHY someone likes us.

I invite you to think about this. We want to know we are loved but when we know specifically why we are liked, it delights our very soul.

This is what I call a SUPER POWER, the ability to tell another what we like about them.
To be able to delight the soul of another, to help someone connect and heal is a gift to our self and to those around us.

Commenting on another’s personality traits or even their fashion choices lets them know we NOTICE them. We appreciate something that is uniquely them.

I invite you to try it this week. Every day be specific with someone. Be appropriate to the level of connection with them. You can be personal with loved ones and offer kind unobtrusive comments to less close acquaintances.

Observe how being appreciated and noticed tends to heal the soul. Theirs and yours.
